Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Who you are contracting with

These Terms & Conditions are between you and Rx on the go mechanics ("we", "us", "our"), a mobile heavy-equipment, diesel truck and trailer repair service based in Southern Ontario, Canada. Contact: rxonthegomechanics@gmail.com · 587-341-0961.

By using our website, requesting service, approving an estimate, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; if you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your province or territory.

Our services

We provide mobile diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections and repair services for heavy equipment, diesel trucks and trailers, performed at your yard or jobsite. Written estimates are provided before work begins where practical; the final invoice reflects the labour, parts, travel, shop supplies, environmental and disposal fees actually incurred, plus applicable taxes.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse our website or services, including:

  • using them for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • sending spam or infringing anyone's intellectual-property rights;
  • interfering with the security or operation of the website (malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to bypass access controls);
  • submitting false information through our contact or review forms.

Intellectual property

We own the website, its content, branding, and the software and documentation we use to provide our services. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the website for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer any part of it.

Payment and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you pay an invoice online, the payment, billing, tax collection, and related mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Invoices may also be paid directly by the methods listed on the invoice. Applicable taxes (such as HST) are added to invoices as required by law.

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

Estimates and your information

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your equipment and the problem, and for keeping it updated. Estimates are prepared in good faith from the information available (including photos you provide); hidden damage or additional faults discovered during repair may change the final cost, and we will tell you before proceeding with significant extra work.

Service availability

We work to keep the website available and our scheduling accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of the website, and field service times are estimates that can be affected by weather, traffic, parts availability and emergency callouts.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or refuse service or website access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of these terms. Amounts properly owing for work already performed remain payable.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Repair workmanship is performed with professional care; any part warranties are those of the part manufacturer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, downtime, data or goodwill), and our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive venue, except where consumer-protection law gives you other rights. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
